Must See Sights in Catanduanes

I received an email a week ago asking me about must-see places and landmarks in Catanduanes to be featured on a local travel magazine. Mentioned were Maribina Falls, Virac Cathedral, Bato church, Puraran and Amenia beach all located in Virac, San Andres and Bato.

There are eight more towns in the island with sights and landmarks unheard of, like the former US Coast Guard Station - LORAN, Lolong Point Lighthouse, Boto ni Kurakog, Nahulugan Falls, Del Rio River resort and many others.

Hi, I and my partner will be in Catanduanes on February 20. I cannot find much literature online specifically pertaining to a travel itinerary in Catanduanes. We will be staying there for 3 days. I wonder if you could help me out build an itinerary (including trasport service/directions) for three days so we could maximize our stay there?

You may send me an email on this address: mark.capulong@yahoo.com.ph

Thank you very much and I am hoping to hear from you soon.

Great! Posting those photos, at least now there is a growing awareness and curiosity about our home province. A new airline just recently came in.

What about the tourism council? Does it still exist?
